Deserves all the love it gets. If the first song doesn't excite you, you are undoomable in the narrow burning witch kind of way. For other bands this would be the highlight of their career. For Keeper it's just a demo. tr_🇺🇦

ALL HOPE ABANDON, YE WHO ENTER HERE. Through me you go into a city of weeping; through me you go into eternal pain; through me you go amongst the lost people. Hope not ever to see Heaven. I have come to lead you to the other shore; into eternal darkness; into fire and into ice. Do not be afraid; our fate cannot be taken from us; it is a gift. - Inferno, Dante Alighieri.

One of my first Bandcamp purchases, Black Urn holds a special place in my heart when it comes to newer Sludge Metal.
The vocals ring out like a strangled corpse atop a black sludge filled river of guitar riffs, the drums drudge along with the guitars making for a very headbang worthy demo.
If I had to pick between The Pangs of our Covenant or this Demo, I'd have to pick this Demo... It feels more raw and "rough around the edges" which makes for a more visceral experience in my opinion. Corbin
